Description


The Pilot Ground School Instructor is responsible for conducting all aspects of Flight Deck Crew training in accordance with the GACAR’s and the company's policies, goals and objectives to ensure that all Flight Deck Crew maintain a high level of standards in safety and technical knowledge.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Deliver engaging and interactive ground school instruction to pilot trainees in accordance with approved training syllabi and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and visual aids, to support effective learning outcomes.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and enhance Pilots group comprehension and retention.
  • Assess student performance through quizzes, tests, and other evaluation methods to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Offer constructive feedback and guidance to Pilots to help them overcome challenges and achieve their learning objectives.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in aviation training to ensure the relevance and currency of training content.
  • Work closely with other instructors, training coordinators, and support staff to coordinate training activities and maintain a cohesive training environment.
  • Keep accurate records of training activities, Pilots performance, and instructional materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.


Requirements:


  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
  • A320 type rated.
  • Minimum experience 3-5 years in aviation, preferably as a pilot or certified instructor or ground school instructor.
  • Previous experience as a ground school instructor(preferred) or flight instructor.
